History of the FOP
Since 1915
The Fraternal Order of Police has a long tradition of serving the professional law enforcement officer. Founded in 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Fraternal Order of Police has evolved into over 2200 local lodges proudly representing over 325,000 officers nationwide.
The FOP Texas State Lodge was established on September 25, 1985, after three local lodges had been formed in the West Texas area.
